E-Commerce Development in Erbil, Iraq

We build online stores for businesses selling in Iraq and the wider region, from a first catalogue with cash on delivery to a store that has to stay in step with stock you already track somewhere else.

What we build

An online store is the shop window and the back office at once. Customers see a catalogue, a cart and a checkout; you see orders, stock levels and whatever has to happen next. We build both halves, and we start from how you already sell rather than from a template that assumes card payment and a courier API.

That matters more here than it does elsewhere. Cash on delivery is normal, deliveries are often arranged by phone or WhatsApp, and prices may need to appear in more than one currency. A checkout that ignores any of this is a checkout customers abandon.

Who it is for

Retailers taking orders through social media messages who want a catalogue to do the repetitive part, wholesalers who need a price list customers can browse without calling, and existing stores that have outgrown whatever they started on. We also take over stores somebody else built, once we have read what is there.

How we work

The same three steps on every project, whatever the service.

  1. Tell us what you need

A short brief or one call. No forms, no sales process.

  2. Fixed scope and quote

You get a written plan and a fixed price within 24 hours.

  3. Build, review, ship

You review at every stage. Deployed, documented and handed over.

For a store we scope the catalogue, the payment and delivery options and the reporting you need before quoting, because those three decide most of the work.

What's included

  • Product catalogue with categories, search and stock levels.
  • Checkout with the payment and delivery options your customers actually use.
  • An order dashboard your team can work from every day.
  • Store in English, Arabic and Kurdish, with prices formatted per language.
  • Analytics and cookie consent, so you can measure without breaking privacy rules.

How we build it

Stores are built on the same Next.js and React foundation as the rest of our web work, with a managed Postgres database behind the catalogue and the orders. Payment and delivery providers are integrated through their own APIs rather than through a plugin marketplace, so a provider changing its terms is a change we make, not a plugin you wait on.

Frequently asked questions

Do you support cash on delivery?
Yes. Cash on delivery is how a large share of orders in Iraq are paid for, so it is a first-class option in the stores we build rather than something bolted on beside card payment.
Can the store run in Arabic and Kurdish?
Yes. We build the catalogue, the checkout and the order emails in English, Arabic and Kurdish, with right-to-left layout handled properly throughout.
Do you work with clients outside Iraq?
Yes. Our team works from Erbil and the company is registered in Estonia, so working across borders and time zones is routine for us.
Can you take over a store we already have?
Often, yes. We read what is there first and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or worth rebuilding. Those are two different quotes and we will not pretend otherwise.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. A store is a live system, so every build can ship with a maintenance plan covering updates, security patching and a named contact who replies within 24 hours.

Projects rarely stop at one service. These two come up most often alongside this one.
